Our Story

The Queen's Head stands proud as a well-loved village local. The pub sits on the main road through the Little Eaton village, in the Amber Valley surrounded by open countryside and stunning walks and views. The pub has a strong community following, and is known for its great food, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, distinctive bar and lovely outside patio with garden seating.

We took over the pub in March 2022, Tim is the landlord, and originally came from a farming background. Tim has run private member golf clubs for the last 20 years. He is passionate about experiences, service and great food. Tim is married to Jorja, a lawyer, and they are both South African and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years. They have two kids, Luke and Cameron who are at the local schools. The family lives in the village, they love animals and spending time together.

In the Kitchen

The pub has a lovely compliment of serving staff, and we work brilliantly as a team. The kitchen is run by the amazing Ben Cartledge. We plate up excellent Sunday lunches, are open 7 days a week, serving homemade locally sourced food, often with a rustic twist, and we support local business where we can.  We have a wide selection of locally brewed beer and cask ale, excellent wines , a gin & cocktail bar.
